Yo, dudes! Today’s review starts as is usual with a short refresh of our Swedish skills ;) TOTALT JÄVLA MÖRKER means – yes, exactly – Total Fucking Destruction (is to find in every dictionary). Söndra & Härska carries the idiom “divide and conquer” in English language as it’s known. Not known? Inexcusable – poor!
Let’s switch to history lesson now: Söndra & Härska, this wise saying has its origin in the art of war, practiced a few hundred years before the birth of the Son of God, and made it in the usage of French royal dynasty on the one hand and also in the art of poetry created by Heinrich Heine.
And coming next on the timetable: music. If I try to conciliate the whole thing with the music, the supposed huge warfare turns out to be a tepid Warm Up then. What functions quite well in the beginning of this record, wobbles replaceable and more and more trivial through it by increasing playing time. The speech is about Crustcore enriched with Black Metal elements. But what is the reason for it? It’s not the mix definitely – this sounds innovative, takes getting used to surely because of the Black Metal six-string and intense by all means. The trigger reasonable for the verbose moment (which exists out of multi 2 – 3 minute tracks) is the focus on a more slowly and grueling style. The small fireworks in brutality, speed and surprise fired in the beginning of Söndra & Härska, shouldn’t dash it such forceful. Nevertheless TOTALT JÄVLA MÖRKER earns a chance in every receptive ear – the potential to be an insider-tip exists absolutely.
