I demand justice!
This masterpiece will be released in 2015 and I won't stumble across this pearl until three years later? An unparalleled cheek!!! I am all the more pleased about this chance acquaintance, which very quickly developed into a permanent acoustic companion.
The reasons for my enthusiasm are manifold, starting with the irrepressible energy bursting sound - nothing can stop THE NOMAD and the wonderfully aggressive, at the same time highly melodic compositions get the blood of every Melodic Death fan immediately flowing. I ask you to forgive any typos due to your enthusiasm :-)
The guitar work really bangs in, as take a look at the guitar playthrough of the title track Victim Of The Evolution on YouTube - many a chin-box might go far down due to the incredible dexterity of the two guitarists Dmitry and Konstantin.
The quartet also manages to use this filigree technique very sensibly and dynamically, which turns almost every piece into a head-banging festival. To top it all off, THE NOMAD write first-class choruses that are highly catchy but not too flat. The result: catchy tunes follow catchy tunes and you can't get a second's rest because of all the ecstatic fist raising or ravishing cervical workouts. An absolute highlight of the melodic steel is called Faceless with eerie animating rhythms, strong guitar licks, haunting growling vocals, effective shouts and this very special stop-and-go-moment, where you want to jump to the ceiling with delight!
A cool voice sample introduces Purifying Fire, which lets the mat fly with helicopter attack guitar riffs; then the positive energy of Appreciate Your Life inspires - and I really like to follow this request while enjoying this riff monster. The heavy guitars make a powerful impression on the other songs as well, the catchy grooves on Died In A Womb grasp mercilessly. The final double hit Death Rising From The Earth and the previously praised Victim Of The Evolution stir up all the bones and taste buds once again, leaving a fat grin on your face caused by lots of choruses and staccato riffs burning irresistibly into your ear and heart.
So there was justice done and this hammer before the lord found its way belatedly to my attentive ear. THE NOMAD succeed with a great album full of hymns and brilliant guitar power - bang your head to this!!!
