The Devastator creeps out of the underworld with a bloodcurdling scream and the controlled insanity takes its unholy curse. Sweat pours out of every cell, when thrashy high speed hits snotty disgorged vocals and a hellish groove. I think that the musicians would act as felicitous opener for The Crown on stage, caused by the similar scored intensity level; eminently the Executioner shakes the moldered bones of all deadly thrashers decently. Unfortunately, I miss magic for downright hymns concerning the choruses, although the short and firm Kill The King shows up withsubstantial potential to sing along. Some neck vertebrae rotate during the impelling head-banger-rhythms of Trying To Grow Wings and the mid-paced, grinding structures of the title track lead me to swing my hair and raise my fist. Manic energy lets explode Shadow And The Slave, guitar solos are beneficial for the arrangement and contribute to the felicitous overall presentation. Merciless groove hammers like In These Moments hold the energy level high till the end, loosened at best through threatening grinding sequences, but I miss a crowning refrain to guarantee for full penetration power.
This album pumps a lot of adrenaline through the body, caused by direct, eerie and insistent grooves, so that the songs are suited for your aggression’s cutback, for sporty workouts or sweaty live shows, but downright single hits are not provided!
