And now: supplies
for the advocates of the old, very true und pure Black Metal style.
Nightwolf is the one-in-all-member of this project which obviously
doesn’t have the purpose to win some golden LPs –
not only because the CD is limited to 400 pieces. Luckily, the
very boring intro is over soon, and then the storm breaks loose
with Das Kreuz ist gefallen. Total rawness, sawing guitars
and above all a voice so full of hate – I haven’t
heard for a long time. That’s really good medicine for all
the wounded true Black Metal souls. Then, acoustic sounds introduce
the slow litany of hate that tells about the fight against the
Kinderficker im Namen des Herrn (child violators in the
name of the lord). For digestive, you get served Blasphemy,
the only English title on this album, another high speed attack.
Dornenkrone starts a bit more “accentuated”,
before, after a short, slow breathing, infernal fury bursts out
again. The guitar sound of the following title track is a little
less rough than the rest (betrayal! sell-out!), but, to make it
up, the drums nearly cannot be heard at all on this track. And
then, Verrecke!!! is another delicacy for all enemies
of unnecessary musical, lyrical or sound finesses.
I really have to criticize the drum sound on Perversion
am Kreuz. But apart from that I like that extremely
raw, primitive Black Metal – but not because of some persuasion,
nor because I’d admired the (audible) uncompromising attitude
of the responsible person, but simply because I like it. I hope,
I got some new enemies now.
