Sorry, but these endless disharmonies make this CD completely disturbing. Actually I like progressive melancholic rock-music. And yes, I especially like female-fronted bands. Some time ago I got hold of Paatos and they are outstanding. WHITE WILLOW sound a bit like them: Many calm parts, a "post-apocalyptic" feeling and great arrangements. Furthermore a singer that reminds me of Oxiplegatz, if anybody still knows them. But...! WHITE WILLOW simply add too many strange harmonies into their sound. Well, it might be interesting from time to time but overall it gets on my nerves. A bit more of "straight" melody-lines would suit their style much better. Storm Season is a good album but unless the band fixes the mentionend problem I can't recommend it really. If you want a great melancholic rock-album check out Paatos. You are better off with them!
