Wuah…hehe... That’s an extremely brutal and bloody piece of music Czech metallurgists known as UPRISE deliver on their self-titled debut album. Very old school Grindcore shreds remind of the heydays of such bands as Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror and Terrorizer at the end of the 80’s/early 90’s. This very short piece of music brutally kills with its hammering sound, and also contains a bunch of Crustcore elements and an ultra wicked cover version of S.O.D.’s United Forces.
The big advantage of Uprise is its unbelievable variety of “singing” ; besides chthonian grunts, hysterical scolding and also roaring Harcore-slanders and Crustore-like screams please ears and mind.

This record is short, merciless, brutal and straight to the point. Grandiose and entertaining… and before you can say knife… the spook is over. Unfortunately.
What more I can say? 8 songs, every single one a hit! Done in 15 minutes. Perfect!
