Following the success of TYPE O NEGATIVEs last year album Dead Again (see review here), which seemed like a resurrection of the band to the good old days of albums like October Rust or Bloody Kisses, a "red edition" of the CD will be released on February 8th 2008, consisting the album plus a bonus DVD and coming in a digi-pack.
The DVD includes half an hour of the gig at last year’s Wacken-Open-Air, a 15 minutes interview with the band (containing lots of the infamous TYPE O NEGATIVE-humor) and the video clips of The Profits Of Doom and September Sun.
Especially the live tracks catch you with very good sound and a band in the best playing mood seen in a long time (especially on Kill You Tonight), all this crowned by Pete Steele’s incomparable chorused bass guitar sound. The 3-LP-vinyl-boxset even comes with an exclusive band shirt and includes the whole album in MP3 format on the DVD. Check it out and enjoy the blackness!
