Hell! A new underground highlight at last!!! This time from Tyrol, Austria. I think this sound can be described without any problem as “innovative” and “creative”. So are very few bands nowadays. After long long brainstorming, I can compare the sound of the four Tyrolean with bands like Aborym or Diabolicum, but TRISTWOOD can create a really new and own sound. The band blasts me away with up to 420 bpm. Of course they had to use a drum machine, because its impossible to play such a stuff, even for the Kataklysm-Drummer.
The riffs are leads, or staccato-fire or just rhythm accompaniment to the cold Techno/EBM/Industrial/Wave parts, that gives an extremely hostile and armoured aura to this album. Unfortunately the sound could be more clear, so this brutal grind manifest could declare total war to all mankind!
