Wow, impressing sound … clear, hard and brutal. Black Metal, fast, aggressive and some cool melodies. That’s what I thought after the first song. But after listening to the whole CD, I must say, that every song nearly sounds like the first song, same tempo, breaks at the same place, similar melodies, and no other emotions than aggression.
I miss the atmosphere that I found in old records of Satyricon or Dark Throne. Polish TENEBROSUS try themselves in industrial like, gloomy soundscapes between the songs. Doesn’t work. Surely everything is played on a high level, but it is mostly boring.
Perhaps a few Marduk fans might like this. Sorry guys. 3,5 Points.
