With a little of a delay – all other SEPTIC sampler got released in October – SEPTIC 4 is taking up its start position. This compilation series is an all around strike of the German label Dependent (under the roof of Mindbase). And again one will find many rare, exclusive and partly still unreleased tracks and remixes. SEPTIC 4 is also available as limited edition (4000 copies). This compilation once again can present interesting and promising acts of the Electro/EBM scene; their hits will run the dance floors up and down. There is no shortfall to find, just tracks I like less (e.g. techno-like THIS MORN OMINA). Songs from INTERLACE (still great) and THE RETROSIC (good too) should already be known to everyone in the scene. Personal highlights are FEKTION FEKLER and the demo of DISMANTLED.

Great sampler, but if SEPTIC 4 will reach the cult status of SEPTIC 1 or 2 … is debatable. It’s your decision. But in this Future Pop-contaminated scene sampler like this are like a shining star on the firmament …
