We've waited long, but now it's here. The newest masterpiece of the German True Metal warriors called Northern Rage that will be loved by all True Metal hearts. The producer of this awesome CD is Kai Hansen - former guitar player of Helloween and Gamma Ray. That's another point why this CD can't be bad.
The CD starts with a heroic intro, from which I always get goose bumps. After this great intro the song Heroic Deathe follows. Fast guitar riffs, double bass attacks and the real great voice the singer are dominating. Of course there are loads of great solos too. If you now believe, that STORMWARRIOR is again a band which sounds like every other True Metal band, you’re totally wrong, because I haven't heard something like this, that is so genius and great to listen to for a long time. The peak level on this CD is clearly the song called Valhalla. That doesn't mean, that the other songs aren't at least as great as this one. But Valhalla has something special, that gives you the feeling, you're in the middle of an ancient battle. Perfect songwriting and this awesome speed make this song to something really special. All I have to say is, that there's really no single point to criticize and this album deserves the highest amount of points. The album ends with the hymn called Lindisfarne. I recommend Northern Rage to all those, who like speed and great melodies and of course also all those who always have liked STORMWARRIOR.
