I think I really don’t have to lose many words about this striking-album, except that this one is a must-have for passionate Thrash Metal-fiends. Over more than thirty minutes Arrival Of The Carnivore enkindles an unbelievable hellfire in the typical brute way of the 80ies paragons such as Kreator or Destruction. These crazy demons demonstrate in a cruel blasphemous fashion that nowadays the possibility absolutely exists to create such a storming old-school-thing, although the media of today is fulfilled with Metalcore- and Neo-Thrash-stuff. Neck-breaking songs like Temples Of Sin, Preventive War and Nuclear Strike are true instances for phenomenal intensity and energetic playfulness, you can find very hard in the actual genre-scene. Even if the offered song-structures miss a little kind of self-reliance and technical cleverness, nevertheless Mayhem, Avenger, Vomitor and Hellbastard have the power to motivate, especially bludgeon-fanatics, with genuine old-school Thrash Metal-riffs and dynamic rhythm.
“This album will hit you like a razor!” – an expressive advertising slogan that intrinsically describes the tremendous magic of this killer-output. With Arrival Of The Carnivore NOCTURNAL prove that there is still something sharper than a razor: True original Thrash Metal, you cannot escape from! Extreme Fans who would like to celebrate the great era of Destruction, Living Death, Exhumer, Sodom, Kreator and Pestilence again in the year 2004 have to buy this piece of rawness. It’s really not easy to find something excellent! Long live “Unholy Thrash Metal”!
