A new version
of... damn, I know it, I know it! Give me just another second....
the riffs, the (unfortunately too narrow, single-tracked) melody
lines, even the sound of the instruments, also the keyboard –
it's all ringing in my ears, I just cannot give the name right
now where I know it from. Even the manner of the vocals performance
is very familiar to me.
Well... anyway. One cannot keep everything in mind, and none of
the two is so outstanding to necessarily recall them forever.
L.O.S.T. meander along in slow to mid tempo,
the bass sounds emphasized and is humming, which adds to the underground
feeling this production and songwriting is spreading. None of
the five tracks is able to point out something: neither the keyboard
is especially worthy of note nor are the guitars. The song structures
are little varied; you've heard one and know all.
So altogether Last Breath is more suitable
for background entertainment and for relaxing.
The artwork is mostly in dark brown with a little photomontage
on the cover.
Interesting fact aside: The first two songs are sung in Romanian
which sounds good. The language seems to be well suitable for
sung texts.
