To my knowledges, this is the first demo CD of this to date unknown
one-man-projects from Argentina, which could cause some furore from
fans of old Delerium sounds or friends of Cold Meat stuff. Exactly
these are the ingredients of which is this cocktail is mixed on
Täter : ethnically or sacral touched, wide applied
sound collages, interspersed with cold electronic and minimized,
spherical industrial elements and short, distorted songparts.
For that the sound is pretty good for a demo, also the 7 tracks
are already sounding very matured. But still, a good idea in principle
can be enlarged too much sometimes.
Here it certainly misses some experiences, so that less can be more
sometimes. About the lyrics the mate might want to think about it
again. For my taste they are acting too dull into Cyberpunk resp.
SM/ Fetish direction. But this shouldn't be an impediment for friends
of above mentioned sounds to risk an ear.
Soundmaster is Gustavo R. Mateo, actually a guitarist (or at least
he was). Bored from the scene he started to experiment with his
own sounds at home, abusing his computer and old synthesizers. The
result is this piece, which was born in January / February of this
year. It seems homework still pays *lol*.
In the meantime, so the rumour says, it's possible to find one track
on a compilation in the near future.
