DVD 1:
On the „Mother“-side of the family production one
can actually find an unplugged concert in Berlin from Germany’s
“meiste Band der Welt”. I can hardly believe it, but
there are 19 songs in a completely new, funky unplugged version
on this DVD. Besides this the band appears very “normal”
for their set-up. Nevertheless the gig is not at all boring. Especially
the cover-section with Highway To Hell, Ich Erschoss Den Kommissar
and the Miss Marple Theme. Only for this totally weird
spectacle I can recommend to all fans to buy this DVD. And even
for people who don’t like them too much the samba-version
of Ich Will Nur Ficken or the lovely Böse is
mandatory. Additional one can find an interview with the band
in which the history from 1994 to 2008 is reflected and the last
song of KNORKATOR in moving pictures.
DVD 2:
Here we find the band in their typical manner. A live concert
like you would expect from KNORKATOR, without an urgent
need to loose too many words. It is a good overview of the work
done by Alf Ator, Stumpen and the rest of the knorkosaurs. For
Wir Werden Alle Sterben also two kids of the band appear
to support their dads. Otherwise it is the normal insanity on
DVD. Stumpen throws money around, shows his butt and mimics the
insane. Unfortunately do they not think back to times when garden
shredder where used to spit vegetables into the masses or loads
bulk garbage where destroyed during Kurz Und Klein. Too
bad. Nevertheless this DVD is not only for fans a time document
of German music culture.
