Founded back
in 2005 by former members of The Hunt For Ida Wave and Burning
Skies ETERNAL LORD was completed by vocalist Edward Butcher
(I Killed The Prom Queen) and bass man Nick Gardener of The Carnival
Of Horrors in early 2007. A couple of names, a couple of bands,
but is there also a degree of popularity according to? This can
rather regional be mentioned, the English young base-cap fraction
couldn’t reach any metal head in their young career so far.
Releasing Blessed Be This Nightmare the guys out
of Great Britain’s dirty south would like to change this
and rely on plenty ideas to lend more asskicking power to the
taken path existing of forged Death Metal and Hardcore. There
is O’Brothel Where Art Thou for example that breaks
ranks out of Deathcore with its Black Metal attitude. The inserted
gang-shouts at the end of this track are absolutely spooky. But
this can’t affirm of the faster parts in this song and generally
of those embedded in Blessed Be This Nightmare.
Far from it, they know how to entertain quite well. Even if they
aren’t Black Metal face lifted anymore, the speedy parts
as in The Forty Five or Set Your Anchor force open
the tons of beat-downs. The blatant contrast is formed by Amity
– this instrumental suit to newly in love first who enjoy
the romance of a sunset far from rough stuff. Whether I talked
about plenty ideas at the beginning these are dished of course
by the one and other rare seeded melody or firm and aggressive
grooves. All things considered I have to say that a concept is
missing somewhere again and again. The base direction with its
aggressiveness is right; however the stuff may be centered willingly.
The variable voice of front-cap Edward Butcher can’t change
that neither. Also here the unfinished picture is reflected: if
he growls in his deepest pitch it doesn’t fit into my constitution
he is far better in the shouted parts. So, please fetch the rasp
and file at the statue of the ETERNAL LORD.
