It’s someway cute if you get a handwritten slip to a professional packaged promo CD, just mention this in the margin…

British DUSTEROID make straight stoner rock with classic heavy rock leanings. And what would have sounded like a dead frog 3-5 years ago (due to the watering place of all these unnecessary bands), surprisingly sounds refreshing nowadays, probably because it became rare.
Stoner rock is surely not an export hit from the isle, especially since Albedo Zero sounds like made in the same desert Kyuss are originating from. Their influences (and its follower) are abundantly clear but that doesn’t have a bad impact on the allover impression. Thank Satan DUSTEROID don’t crucify the listener with uninspired, fifth-class Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin riffing.
Ok, the 70’s are more than just present but its influence acts fresh and inventive. But the classic stoner rock problem appears on Albedo Zero as well: singing is average or even weak. Come up like a second-class copy of the Kyuss singing.
It rocks! The psychedelic part is more in the background. Well done!
