Second
output from this Swedish-German troop, featuring wondervoice Olaf
Hayer (Luca Turilli), and what's on offer is nothing but quality
metal. Anyone who enjoyed the first album Sign Of Truth
is going to drool over this too. The musicians of
the band that got its name from the Greek god of wine are 100% professional
when it comes to handling their instruments, and the songs are a
healthy mix of mid-tempo, up-tempo, tralala, and included, too,
is the obligatory ballad called Forever More. The sound is impressive,
and Johnny Öhlin's (guitar, also Nation) guitar tricks are
not of this world. Favourite tracks would be Divine, titletrack
Anima Mundi and Closer To The Sun, and even Bringer
Of War can be added to the list after having listened to this
song a few times, which says something about the diversity of this
band, since I normally prefer the speedier tracks. I'd like to see
the band live and observe the feelings that surely will arise when
they play this one live - 'cause in my ears it's a perfect live
track. For fans of metal of the German school – go and give
it a spin! |
