It is quite impressing how stoical and oblivious DERANGED push their thing through. Also on their now seventh release The Redlight Murder Case the Swedes don’t differ just a centimeter from their route of march since the early nineties and just go on diligently paving their way with corpses. Nine crime scenes like Watch Me When I Kill, Gently Before She Dies, So Sweet So Dead, Death Walks On High Heels are opened up. These killers are grist to the mills of those who love the incomparable DERANGED sound. And this is impressive by its outstanding higher classified and brutal skull disrupting rough Death Metal. Alone the one or other razor-sharp riffing seems to be born for murder. Everyone knows that the Swedes can do it fast, but killing in a slow-motion, crushing and still propulsive style like The Killer Wore Black Gloves, that’s where the pleasure of the Swedes comes into their own in celebrating crime scenes. Really intense! I would like to know how profilers speak out on DERANGED?! Weak points are just as little as reforming things. The Redlight Murder Case is straightforward, determined, cold-blooded, uncompromising and brutal arranged. An album placed just right in your face. Have fun while stabbing and hacking!
