It's been 2 years since their latest recording Haven, but now they're sure back. For those rare people who haven't heard about DARK TRANQUILLITY, like many other bands in the Gothenburg area, they play melodic technical death music. And they know how! This band is already 13 years in business and can be added to Swedish finest!

This albums kicks off with the track Final Resistance and I don't think they could've picked a better start. It offers a great variety in song structure, rhythm changes... And the vocals by Mikael Stanne have reached a new level! Track 3 Monochromatic Stains could've been picked right of a Children Of Bodom album, at least the intro of it. Then they change into their own DARK TRANQUILLITY style. No, this guys don't need to be copycats! They sure have enough technical abilities! This album is just one you play from the beginning to the end without getting bored.

For those who fear that this is just another DARK TRANQUILLITY album or yet another melodic Gothenburg band, just don't! It's heavier than Haven and sure is their best release up to date. News have been confirmed that they've started touring again together with Sinergy + 2 more to be confirmed, so don't miss out on that gig!
