Five Austrian
guys want to tell me my personal Hymn To Annihilation.
This is really a self-conscience appearance of a band who founded
back in the middle of 2006. Is it because they shared the stages
with Pro-Pain or Tanzwut? Or is it because of their anything destroying
sound? I listened several times to BLOODSHED REMAIN’s
self-produced release. These questions are retarded: How did they
make it happen to share stage with Pro-Pain and why should exactly
this be Your Hymn To Annihilation? In
fact this release has a nice fueled hardcore-image, which is improved
by Metal and Punk parts. Melodic Hardcore – which is certified
to this combo – can only be found in the last track Beloved
Mistakes. Beginning with an intro infected by Metal, the
other four songs are dominated by Hardcore. Well, the Hardcore
style is generally not known as a high-class technical style,
but there could be more power and complexness brought into the
songs. Without that, the whole opus turns into simplicity. As
mentioned, good approaches can be noticed, because of the fact
BLOODSHED REMAINS try to act in variety. But
maybe it’s better to follow one direction instead of left
the songs standing alone. Either they take the whole stuff and
lump it together as heard in Wet Rectum and establish
new chances to diversify or they follow the straight Metalcore
style like heard in MashYourCar or the already announced
Beloved Mistakes. By attending the following release
of Your Hymn To Annihilation might be
more interesting.
