After two, now legendary demo tapes, which I didn't get in my fingers yet, is Skullcrusher the third release and the first official output. Unfortunately it is just an 4 track EP. Because, who once risks an ear wants more, definitely! Nevertheless, the 5 lads from Sweden ( not to mistake with Bloodshed from France ) manage it in barely 16 minutes, to mill through the frames in such a way, that you just will keep lying on the floor, helpless!
After a really short intro it starts an all destroying Death-/Black Metal-roll, where there is no escape. Directly the titletrack Skullcrusher is also the highlight and will kill your neck. Deep growls and powerful grooves remind me of typical Florida Death Metal a la Morbid Angel, Six Feet Under and also Nile, but just to knock over that in a brutal, merciless typical swedish Black Metal thunderstorm a la Marduk. But here to renounce on a non-stop high speed pace. Let The Bloodshed Begin and Laughter Of Distruction are moving more in those Florida-Death-fields, which gives the tracks an incredible power and intensity. Powerful drums and fucking great guitar riffs don't leave the listener's head. And once more you will get a tight brutal kick in the ass with The Ultimate Overthrow at the end, which only leaves burnt earth.
Hmm... what remains ? Well, pulls the guys back into studio, if neccessary by their hairs! I want a full-length album! And I want them on stage!
Who wanna suck more infos ( don't be scared long loading time )
