Arrrrrggghhhh....what a blast. The long awaited second masterpiece of the US MetalCore gods BLEEDING THROUGH. I can’t say how much I was waiting for this and at least I can say it was worth it. This Is Love, This Is Murderous contains everything what MetalCore fans want to hear, whether I can call this MetalCore. This CD is much better than the previous one Portrait Of The Goddess. Everything destroying blast beat attacks turn into mosh parts which let heads crush, double bass drumming changes to sweet heart-rending guitar parts which let every heart bleed. Unbelievable what these guitarists are able to play, they stop for nothing, ultra tight twin guitar loops, US and Swedish Death Metal and mosh riffs like Hatebreed are the basis for their songs. They can’t make it better, their singer growls and screams like the devil is behind him and he shows that he’s able to sing with a clear voice too. This explosive mixture gets accompanied with melodic keyboards and will be completed with slow acoustic parts. It’s difficult to emphasize some single playing hints, you shall listen to the first song Love Lost In A Hail Of Gun Fire and you’ll know what I’m talking about, this song shows all trademarks of BLEEDING THROUGH. The sound and the production of this record are quite fine, fat guitars, a pumping bass and a beating drum sound, without losing transparency. With this record BLEEDING THROUGH will increase their status and after the Ozzfest Tour in summer 2004 at the latest they won’t be loved only in the HardCore scene.
