A bitter piece of black, thrash and melodic death metal from my hometown. Let’s see what we get out of that. The black metal part can be easily found in the intro. A dark keyboard passage. But exactly at the break from intro to the first song Within His Eyes, the thrash part starts. And how it starts… Testament and Exodus, but also Machine Head and even Destruction and older Kreator can be quickly figured out. The German bands especially appear in the last song of the EP, called Killing Fields. Here the vocals of Mariano sound like Mille combined with Chuck Billy and we can find the only Swedish part which I could detect. Sometimes the vocal-lines sound like Clawfinger. But calm down, it is not rap-style. Here we can hear a good thrash band presenting some really nice songs. OK, in the middle of this EP there are some pretty uninteresting parts, but the most riffs kick ass. Everyone who loves the above mentioned bands should check out BITTER PIECE at Myspace. Good stuff, guys. Only one question comes to my mind…why must the poor mite be nailed on the cover?
