This might be one of those harmless bands that have been founded in the last years.
On the one hand, In Hoc Signo Vinces is really very good produced and has a fat and clean sound, but boredom comes after few minutes.
You can describe the music as a mix between Swedish (many leads and cheap guitar chords) and Norwegian (mid/fast tempo) Black Metal. But the band really walks on roads that are already a Black Metal traffic jam. ANGST doesn’t offer anything new. Where is the individualism, where is the art? Why should you buy this CD, when you can choose from hundreds of similar CDs? It seems that each average band gets a label deal, only because it comes from Scandinavia. In Hoc Signo Vinces has really good hateful riffs and a morbid and raw flair, but I think I will listen to other, more distinctive bands.
Never mind, traders, collectors and BM freaks can check this out.
