Much-loved institution. Every year, now for the 8th time, the legendary AMPHI FESTIVAL calls its black and blackened souls to join the gathering at Cologne’s Tanzbrunnen. And with much-loved passion they offer us once again a large array of bands and artists, musical titbits and rarities as well as entertaining pleasures around to let black hearts shine and glow :)

And this year’s edition sold out its tickets even faster than the years before. Around 16.000 fans came from all over the world to join in.
And again I could not attend the fest myself (next year I will definitely!), so I sent out guest writers and photographers to catch all these memorable moments and great band performances. I would like to thank Janine Szacaks & Kira Kalinina for incredibly great work writing this festival report for us. It is much appreciated :)
