These 4 lads from Northern Ireland not only attrack attentention with their freaky but unique band name - with them they really love to confuse - but above all with their music. As they have stated right from the beginning they abandoned all usual conventions to achieve something own. And HONEY FOR CHRIST managed this! They even created something fresh and innovative. These guys combine Death-, Thrash and Heavy Metal and enrich this concoction with warm and melodic singing which lives on singer Jasons exceptional voice. Of course, HONEY FOR CHRIST are not that unknown anymore in the underground scene, especially with their latest output Forging Iron Will they could cash on massive positive credits. HONEY FOR CHRIST kicks ass as hell and should be checked out in any case! Guess it's up to them now to come over to the continent to cause somewhat cultivated chaos ...
Biography: HONEY FOR CHRIST was founded back in November 1998 by Jason Hendry (vox) and Andy Clarke (git). Andy brought Chris Armstrong (drums) in a little while later after they used to hang around together for years. At the end Paul McRoberts (bass) completed the outfit. With this line-up they still cause nonsense and have released - together with several sampler contributions - 3 demo CD's. Disco:
