What do you get when you combine melodic metal meshed into a vein of the black metal aspects? Finland’s own UHRILEHTO. Welcoming the bands 3rd new release to date Viimeninen Vitutus an album achievement with dark ambient sounds exploring the realm of black metal showcasing melodic edged songs. So unlike the bands of The 69 Eyes, Charon and Nightwish UHRILEHTO clings to pure metal utilizing keyboards that balance melodies to create an array of hard hitting rhythms faced alongside with energized guitar finger work. Musical highlights of Viimeninen Vitutus are described into meaning on the songs The Last Grieving Farewell and Modern Nemesis Syndicate while the rest of the album demonstrates abilities of songwriting but lack what seems to be recording energy for which one can hear plainly. Taken as a whole the production grasps what the band is expressing in recording via guitar and vocal mixing leaving room for open ridicule on the parts that lack in the rhythm section that should not have been overlooked. Sound wise UHRILEHTO is a stable group but lacks foundation.
