In June 2004 The Sombre Light Of Isolation was released worldwide. THE ETERNAL’s Sleep Of Reason was recorded earlier this year. When I first read that it was a doom metal band I rolled my eyes with the thought this CD was going to suck! Well I was clearly mistaken, I enjoyed listening to it. It has a somewhat soothing effect. It’s like a movie without a picture leaving you to envision what you like. All the songs on this CD run and blend together perfectly, sit back relax and enjoy the moment.
