Rebirth The Metal has done it again! This is the second volume of this underground label that has set loose upon the masses. 18 tracks of pure brute force, ready to put you in a choke-hold and tear your inhibitions away. No wonder this label is called Rebirth The Metal, cause they are bringing metal to the new age. Taking tracks from their top-priority releases and "borrowing" a few tracks from other labels, this release is a heavy answer to the not-so-good music being released by the mainstream labels. So let’s venture on to the music that makes this disc an awesome find.

Opening into an onslaught of pure aggression, PURGATORY's Death World Struggle, is an anthem for anyone with a taste for anti-social human suffering. A black/death attack taken from their album Luciferianism (available Animate Records 2004). Leaping into the 2nd track off this brutal abyss of unrelenting metal is BITTERNESS' Self-fulfilling Prophecy, taken from the album Autumn's Fall, like a reminiscent of Old Man's Child with a more thrashy approach to the vocals, adding bits of thrash and black metal into a masterpiece of this stunner. A-TEAM's Cannibalized Morality is a brutal death explosion with enough crushing power to bring tears to old ladies eyes. Funerals are always a depressing scene and OPHIS takes the devastation one step further with Funeral (track 5). Doom metal the way it’s meant to be, depressive and imaginative. Rotting Orifice Cunnilingus sounds wonderful (eeewwwwwwww!), but TORN TO PIECES has made it even better. As weird as that sounds, a headbang worthy release meant to not only disgust anyone who hears it, but also to make those select few who understand this type of music feel the need to bash themselves in the head with... well... a rotting orifice. If you like doing that sort of thing. I'll just sit here and headbang. Moving on. Chainsaws are useful inventions, they make lumberjacks jobs easier, and they make good subjects in songs. Remember Jackal? You know you blasted that song in your stereo a few times, admit it!! But, this death metal attack by MORPHOSYS has made an entire ode to the damn things, entitled Ode To My Chainsaw. Starting out - you guessed it - with chainsaw sounds (clever), moving on to kick you in the teeth with their nuclear assault that is their brand of death metal. POWER is BADASS! Old school death metal! These guys are scary enough looking, but damn are they kickass. Bludgeoning you with 28, taken from their album Thrashblitz. And that’s what this track is, a thrashblitz from hell. ZEROED's Hategate is an atomic detonation of brutal death metal not meant to be looked over. SILENTIUM NOCTIS' Bona Deas Hauch is a black/death masterpiece with awesome talent. High vocals, Low vocals, and keyboards make this track not only interesting but also diverse. MOONFOG's Bloody Memories is a brutal death attack not meant for those with a weak heart. Blood. War. Devastation. That's what comes to mind when listening to this barbarously imaginative metal classic. Ending this journey into underground metal is THE DAMNATION with a track taken from their first full-length release coming soon in 2006, entitled Dawn Of The Dead. I'm currently sitting here wondering if this is what Hell is going to sound like. More than likely, yes. Dark, hypnotic and depressive. This death metal track is meant to ensnare the senses with pure evil.
