It’s about a bit more that a year the record of the Polish was released and I ask myself seriously, if REVELATION OF DOOM are still in the media circus or if they vanished into thin air!? Maybe the guys tend a flock of goats, hunted virgins or knocked at the door of the horned and asked for entrance. Aside from an unofficial MySpace-site with believe or not five friends (!) and a expressionless homepage including nothing they leave their mark in the world wide web. And Shemhamforash definitely won’t make the Polish rise from rags to riches, thereto more than a simple played black colored mix of Death Metal and Thrash Metal is needed. Black colored: REVELATION OF DOOM perform in a proficient way nearly all things appropriate and perfect Black Metal is about. The cross points to south, horns of a goat decorate the back cover just as goats whinge in The Goatwhore, virgins moan lustful and tracks as Six Six Six, From Metal To Hell, Phalluscipher The Godcrusher or Darkness Shall Be let one guess the lyrical statements easily. About three minutes time and absolutely dispensable the Ave Satanas – Hail Satan spiel in the musical finale of Shemhamforash REVELATION OF DOOM has to nail this to their cheeks confidently. So far the content statement, the musical is as easy structured. Revolution means something different. But therefore – believe it or not – effectiveness in realization is given on and on. Technical parts are entirely ignored, the Polish trust in the modular design principle. If a riff detonates it is belt out until excess and deactivated by a complete break by a style part or by increase or reduction of the tempo. So, besides Thrash riffs and blast beats more than apparent Autopsy and Hellhammer parts are to enjoy. And exactly these simple structures with straight direction grant a high recognition value and a lot of explosives. A fitting rough production overlaid and an easy cool smasher is born. But one question is left: Where are they now?
