Egocentric,
a melodic drama interwoven with fibers of romance and depression,
added with a gathering of musical sounds combined to make a capricious
synthesis of energies. The vocals of Minas, an unfamiliar addition
to the group, bring forth an accomplished faculty. With the lyrical
combinations of skinned emotions composed by Stefanos and Minas
is extraordinary.
The assortment of strong guitars by Chris, crisp bass lines performed by Stefanos, pulsation of the drums by Fotis, and vocal/guitar by Minas gives ON THORNS I LAY their unique and unremarkable sound. Such songs as Poster On A Wall and Unsung Songs, shows ON THORNS I LAY’s musical abilities as well as musical genius. A personal favorite song, Quotation For Listening, shows the bands musical achievements and inimitable talents. |
