Manatark

Intro called The Principle, gave a chilling event of what the lyrics betrayed. The line that gives the hidden meaning recited as heard “Of late I’ve realized the true nature, of what binds lost souls together. The hidden core, the darker side, the fallen one, the savage parasite”. Lyrical and musical content gives into the rise of man through the beast within for which is the lyrical base with Chaos Engine. MANATARK evolves into the sinister fury as heard through Lies, Blasphemy, Deceit. Vocals as harsh as they get dwell into the more chaotic sound of silence upon the instrumental piece called Crystal, a musical cascade of emotions in a daze. Album gives a wide variety of what this band is capable of without losing sight of MANATARK goal.

What grabs a visual eye was that of the cover artwork that depicts the rise of man by tasting the forbidden fruit, the real eye catcher, the Prometheus, bringer of life. What is baffling to me is why MANATARK had not been exposed over here within the states. Potential is apparent with Chaos Engine for I sense that this album is going to really break some ground above ground for these MANATARK beings. Recording and production as well as the music are the rankings of what makes this band one to hear.
