20 years of DISBELIEF! My heartiest congratulations!
It is actually only singer Karsten "Jagger" Jäger remaining from the very first days and steps of DISBELIEF. And as he told us in an interview, he still does not really know if, when and how to celebrate this anniversary. Meanwhile the band came together to unleash an anniversary album to celebrate themselves. This new record is entitled Heal and consists of four brand new songs, three cover versions and a remake of 2002 classic Shine.
But also the band’s new tracks ain’t classic DISBELIEF material. They rather are homage to bands the guys like and which had a huge influence on DISBELIEF. It’s not difficult to hear out, which songs does honor which band, so just sit down and have fun while finding out without sneaking information from the net ;) It’s a real pleasure and as for me, I go for The Last Force - Attack!!! ;)
When it comes to the cover version I like King Diamonds Welcome Home and much more the grandiose Love Like Blood from Killing Joke. I truly love it!
